Adult History Programs

Wine at the Waterhouse: 

Visitors tour the Waterhouse Residence & Carpentry Shop Museums learning about the customs of the Victorian period. The tour is followed by a gathering for wine and cheese overlooking Lake Lily or in the Museum Courtyard. This special event makes the perfect holiday gathering, corporate or networking event, or evening with friends.

$25.00/person, minimum of 10

Tools of the Trade: 

This interactive team-building program for corporate offices combines techniques and building methods used in Central Florida during the late 19th century. Test your skills with a unique woodworking project. Program components vary based on your company’s needs and can include a day or half day long experience, a guided tour, lunch and a team-building activity.

$40.00/person for a full day and $25.00/person for a half day, minimum of 10

The Pink Tea Series: 

Our Victorian Pink Teas include a tour of the Waterhouse, followed by a delightful tea. The pink tea gets its name from Sarah Waterhouse who, in her desire to help the budding community of Maitland, threw a pink tea to raise money for a bell for the First Presbyterian Church of Maitland. 

Light Pink Tea: Scones, croissants, jam, cream, and teas are served. $17.00/person

Pink Tea: Sweets, scones, croissants, jam, cream, and teas are served. $22.00/person

Deluxe Pink Tea: This tea includes all of the pink tea fare with the addition of finger sandwiches. $24.00/person

Red Hats Pink Tea: This tea includes all of the treats of the deluxe pink tea. All participants will also receive a decorated hat. $26.00/person
