The Fall 2016 session of Classes and Workshops for youth and teens is currently in session. Click the program titles below for more information or to register for a specific class or workshop.

Kids: Abstract printmaking

Members: $45, Others: $50; Materials fee: $20

Use pattern, color, texture and printmaking techniques to make beautiful abstract prints. Everyone goes home with one framed artwork, suitable for hanging at home or as a gift. For kids ages 6 -10 years old.

Winter 2017

Teens: Chinese Brush Painting

Members: $50, Others: $60; Materials fee: $5Young artists, ages 15-20, are invited to learn about the history and aesthetics, and then try their hands at, the art of Chinese Brush Painting, exploring common symbols, brushstrokes, materials, and compositions. Emphasis will be on the plum, a symbol of renewal.

Kids: Printmaking from nature

Kids, ages 6-10 years old, will explore campus to find natural elements to create unique, hand-made prints. Everyone leaves with with one framed artwork, suitable for hanging at home or as a gift.

Families: Building in clay
Richard Munster
Saturday, March 25th, 10am-12pm
Members: $20, Others:$24; Materials fee: $10/family
Families will enjoy this opportunity to explore building in clay with Artist-in-Action (and awesome dad) Richard Munster. Come prepared to get muddy, laugh, and play together! You’ll leave with a completed project to air-dry at home. Advance registration required, and only those older than 5 years old, please.
