Mother’s Day Metal Clay Workshop

May 9 @ 1:00 pm - 4:00 pm

Art & History Museums – Maitland

Create a one-of-a-kind piece of jewelry for the mom in your life (or bring her along to enjoy creating art together!)

This workshop is open to teens and adults aged 15 and above. This is the perfect place to create together with friends or loved ones, and just in time for Mother’s Day! Join us for this sampler of precious metal clay where students will create one or more pieces of jewelry of their own design. This will include an introduction to rolling, texturing, cutting, shaping, refining, and finishing. Pieces will be fired during class time, so students can bring them home the day! Perfect for gifts! This workshop is taught by Marion Fague-Bass in Studio 10 at the Maitland Art Center.
