Create your own small fabric collage using the basic running stitch for this form of embroidery. The 4 x 4” embroidered “patch” you make can be used to embellish a jacket\, jeans\, a shirt\, etc. Join Candace to get started with this meditative and fun method of hand stitching! \nAll tools\, fabric\, and thread to create will be provided by instructor\, but feel free to bring your own scissors/thimbles if you have favorites. \nWorkshop is for adults 18 and over. DESCRIPTION:Create paper using recycled materials using pouring techniques\, embedding\, lamination\, and coloration of handmade paper.\n\n\n\nTaking a trip around the world with different fibers\, one will learn that paper is still made by hand in many third world countries\, even today. Students will learn sheet forming and pouring techniques\, embedding\, lamination\, and coloration of handmade paper\, and will go home with a few finished pieces of art. Students please bring with you any materials you would like to recycle such as flowers\, dried plants\, paper\, vegetable peelings and paper. Be prepared to get wet during the process of the workshop. \nWorkshop is for adults 18 and over.
