Join us this month to create a set of 3 embellished\, stacking rings.\n\n\n\nIn this workshop you will make a set of 3 embellished\, stacking rings using a combination of fine silver metal clay and sterling silver wire. First\, you will make 3 dainty bands using sterling silver wire. Then you will learn how to make decorative elements from silver clay using a variety of molds and textures: shells\, flowers\, hearts\, animals\, you name it! Then you will solder your decorative pieces onto your ring bands. Finally\, you will finish and polish your rings. For beginners or intermediate level students. Metal clay can be rolled\, stamped\, cut\, and manipulated like other clays\, but once fired is 99.9% pure silver. Students will finish their pieces to the dry greenware stage.
