Complete a project in each unique workshop! Workshops are appropriate for all learners. \nFlorida has some of the most iconic waters and skies. Come paint Florida landscapes in a beautiful impressionist alla prima style! Saturday Painting Workshops are led by local artist and instructor PJ Svejda. \nWorkshop is for adults 18 and over. DESCRIPTION:Complete a different project in each Sunday Jewelry Workshop! Join us this month to learn to create a spinner ring. Beginners welcome!\n\n\n\nLearn to create a ring with an anticlastic shape which flares out on each side like a trumpet. This allows a second ring to spin freely around the outside of the first. This workshop is taught by longtime Maitland Art Center instructor and artist Jim Hosner. \nWorkshop is for adults 18 and over. Registration is $50. Anyone can learn these techniques to create beautiful\, wire wrapped pendants. In this workshop you will learn basic wire wrapping for those cool retro childhood marbles\, gemstones\, and crystals. The material fee will provide you with your own set of jewelry pliers; choice of marbles\, gemstones\, and crystals; wrapping wire; chain for your finished piece; and informational sheets to take home. Techniques taught in class and the tools you take home will be applicable for your future jewelry projects. \nWorkshop is for ages 15 and over. Registration is $50.
