DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Ryan Price \nLocation: Cottage at Lake Lily \nCost: $50 + $10 material fees \nMaterials fees must be paid in cash directly to the instructor\, and are due on the day of the workshop. \nParticipants will use Legos as a base to create abstract designs that they will then use a brayer to ink up and do a rubbing with a wooden spoon or run it through the press. For multicolor designs\, the instructor will also demonstrate how to create a registration for lining up the print in the same area on the paper. \nThis workshop is designed to teach participants the basic ideas behind relief printmaking. Using the Legos to “build” your design broadens the audience to those who may not have strong drawing skills or background in the arts but are interested in printmaking.
