DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Marion Fague-Bass \nLocation: Maitland Art Center Studio 10 \nCost: $65 + $75 materials fee \nCreate a tiny treasure box with a loose-fitting lid in this workshop with Marion! Your box will be small (approximately 1 cubic inch) and perfect for holding a precious trinket: a coin from your honeymoon in Italy\, a button from your child’s favorite shirt\, or maybe a ring from your grandmother. Using 20 grams of fine silver metal clay and a variety of textures and molds\, you can make your treasure box in the shape of your choice. You will learn how to fit and attach a bottom to your box and how to create a lid with a rim. Boxes will be finished to the dried greenware stage. All pieces will be fired after the workshop and available for pick-up the following week. \nRegister >>
