Expand the limits of traditional drawing by using different techniques\, materials\, surfaces\, and formats. Learn to observe what surrounds us. Communicate ideas and emotions through drawing experimentation. Lose fear of the blank sheet\, and produce a short series of drawings. DESCRIPTION:Saturday\, October 21  | 11 AM – 2 PM \nInstructor: Ryan Price \nLocation: Maitland Art Center\, Studio 10 \nCost: $80 + $20 material fees. \nMaterials fees must be paid in cash directly to the instructor\, and are due on the day of the workshop. \nParticipants will cut cardstock paper to create negatives and stencils for prints. You will arrange the stencils and plan their print layout. Participants will use squeegee brushes to press their stencils onto paper and create images. This workshop gives an understanding of how to use positive or negative imagery when engaging with printmaking. \nRegister Here>>
