This dynamic workshop is aimed for all levels of painters. During this immersive 2-day workshop\, participants will learn how to craft their own personalized egg tempera blend of paints\, skillfully balancing viscous balsam\, fossilized resin\, egg yolk\, and pigments. Delve deep into the confluence of tradition and innovation in painting. Participants will discover how to create these mediums from scratch\, harnessing their flexibility\, blending\, and richness akin to oil with the versatility of aqueous mediums. Through hands-on exercises\, explore the advantages of using these modified traditional materials\, emphasizing both workflow improvements and cost-effectiveness. By the end of the first session\, attendees will be equipped with the skills and inspiration to infuse historical methods into their modern practice\, bridging eras and expanding artistic boundaries.
