DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Peggy Wertheim \nLocation: Cottage at Lake Lily \nCost: $125 + $30 material fees \nMaterials fees must be paid in cash directly to the instructor\, and are due on the day of the workshop. \nDiscover\, create\, and explore the exciting techniques of Silk Painting. Everyone is successful! No experience is necessary. Students will learn resist application\, color blending and mixing plus paint and salt techniques. You will create a Long Silk Scarf as a wearable or wall hanging. A wealth of designs is provided as well as an extensive handout packet. Fun\, easy\, creative art form! A $30 materials fee is paid directly to the teaching artist on the day of the workshop. Peggy Wertheim is a Surface Design Artist in the art forms of marbling\, silk painting\, batik\, shibori\, and complex dyeing spanning 45 years.
