DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Ryan Price \nLocation: Maitland Art Center Studio 10 \nCost: $80 + $20 material fees \nMaterials fees must be paid in cash directly to the instructor\, and are due on the day of the workshop. \nParticipants will learn how to make a Japanese-style book. They will learn how to organize the materials needed for the sketch book by sizing the paper and making the cover. The instructor will also be demonstrating how to thread the needle and how to stitch the pattern on an example book. After the demonstration\, participants will practice their own stitching on computer paper before proceeding to work on their own books.
