DESCRIPTION:Instructor: Tony Passero \nLocation: TBD \nSaturday & Sunday\, October 17 & 18 and 24-25 | This is a 4-day workshop that spans two weekends! \nCost: $270 + Supply List \nEver wondered how small drawings become large-scale public art? This hands-on class focuses strictly on the physical execution of a mural. During the 4-day workshop\, students will be painting an actual wall on the Art and History Museums Maitland Campus. Using a pre-selected design\, you will learn about site prep\, best practices for readying your wall\, projector setup\, grid mapping\, precise outlining\, and large-scale paint application. Perfect for studio artists to build real-world mural skills. \nThis course is designed to introduce you to the practice of large-scale public art. Participants should have basic experience with traditional painting and drawing. Please keep in mind this is a four-day workshop\, weather permitting\, happening on a Saturday and Sunday\, 10 AM – 4 PM.
