Each event focuses on an aspect of the artist’s development\, as seen through the combined experience of a panel of established professionals and the guidance they provide to the audience. There’s no charge to participate as an artist in the review or as an audience member– see below for quarterly topics and invited guest panelists. A bar is available with beer\, wine and water. \nArtists of every medium and skill level are encouraged to participate in the critiques. DESCRIPTION:A&H’s Maitland Art Center galleries will remain closed September 5 to October 28\, to allow for upgrades and restoration projects that are funded in part by Orange County Government through the Arts & Cultural Affairs Program. A more sophisticated HVAC system will be installed to preserve the galleries and artwork displayed\, wireless internet access is being improved to support a new tour of campus via cell phone application\, and a set of original casement windows that have been covered for decades will be revealed to showcase André Smith’s original architecture. The gallery modifications will be unveiled during Culture Pop on October 28\, when guests can preview the new John Petrey and Derek Gores exhibitions.
