A&H's Maitland Art Center galleries will remain closed September 5 to October 28, to allow for upgrades and restoration projects that are funded in part by Orange County Government through the Arts & Cultural Affairs Program. A more sophisticated HVAC system will be installed to preserve the galleries and artwork displayed, wireless internet access is being improved to support a new tour of campus via cell phone application, and a set of original casement windows that have been covered for…

Central Florida Yellow Ribbon Project

The first fiber bombing for the project is located in the field next to A&H's main campus In conjunction with the A&H's Soldier's Home and Art of Camouflage exhibitions, Victoria Walsh (aka Macramé Momma) will lead “fiber bombing” community-based art installations, titled Central Florida Yellow Ribbon Project. It aims to usher awareness about homeless veterans and their needs.
