Composing Maitland

Maitland is a historic town over 120 years old, that features a variety of architectural styles. Composing Maitland will feature the beautiful architecture created by two of the town’s greatest contributors, William H. Waterhouse and Andre Smith. Visitors to the Maitland History Museum will have an opportunity to see the plans behind two of their most well-known buildings the Waterhouse Residence and the Maitland Art Center. This exhibit will unveil the techniques of these creators, and how their original buildings began their restoration thirty years ago.
