Preserving the A&H’s Maitland Art Center – Our Living Landmark
Landmark Society
In 2014, the Art & History (A&H) Museums – Maitland Art Center became the only National Historic Landmark in the greater Orlando area and 44th in the state of Florida. In celebration of this valued designation, a prestigious giving circle was created for individuals with a deep understanding of the Art Center’s rich history and the importance of preserving it for future generations.
“Maitland’s most cherished asset. One of the icons that has defined our city in the past, distinguishes it today and will represent it far into the future.” Former Mayor of Maitland, Howard Schieferdecker (January 2015).
