October 19, 2017 @ 12:00 pm - October 29, 2017 @ 4:00 pm
A&H’s Waterhouse Residence Museum
See how the Waterhouse Residence Museum is transformed to a Halloween-themed wonderland. Docents will lead visitors of all ages on an immersive tour of this historic home. Many of today’s Halloween traditions were originally developed in the Victorian era as a result of their fascination with death. See intriguing artifacts such as a wreath made of hair and a 19th–century funeral plaque and discover Halloween traditions from lighthearted superstitions to early exploration of science and medicine.
Special evening tours on October 21 from 6:00-9:00pm. Tours begin every 30 minutes.
Evening tours admission: $4 A&H member; $5 Maitland resident; $6 all others
Advance tickets are sold out for the special evening tours, but limited walk-ups are available.
