Artists Critique & Conversation
June 6, 2018 @ 6:00 pm - 8:30 pm
Art & History Museums – Maitland
These events bring together art professionals, arts leaders and artists.
The A&H proudly hosts Artists Critique & Conversation. These events bring together art professionals, arts leaders and artists. Each event focuses on an aspect of the artist’s development, as seen through the combined experience of a panel of established professionals and the guidance they provide to the audience. There’s no charge to participate as an artist in the review or as an audience member. Selected artists will receive constructive comments from artist, professor and mentor Lilian Garcia-Roig. The public is welcome to attend and learn how art professionals evaluate artistic skill, process and content.
Prior to the Critique, Garcia-Roig — whose works are included the Enchanted Florida exhibition in Maitland Art Center — will give a talk about her acclaimed body of work, plein air techniques and more.
Talk: 6:00pm | Critique: 7:00-8:30pm
A bar is available with beer, wine and water.
