Cost: $95 + $40 material fees
In this two-day, all-level workshop, we will use encaustic and mixed media techniques to build up beautiful surfaces and textures to create an imaginative impression of a landscape you can create from your imagination or a real place that you hold a deep connection to: your garden, childhood home, or a favorite vacation spot.
All materials are provided; students are free to bring in their own substrate as long as it’s a solid surface (not canvas). Students are also encouraged to bring photo references or sketches of the landscape they’d like to create.
