Cost: $75 + $10 material fees.
Materials fees must be paid in cash directly to the instructor, and are due on the day of the workshop.
Participants will use Legos to create abstract designs. Use a brayer to ink your design, then do a rubbing with a wooden spoon or the press. For multicolor designs, the instructor will demonstrate how to create a registration for lining up the print on the paper.
This workshop teaches participants the basics of relief printmaking, using Legos to build designs. It is inclusive to those who may not have strong drawing skills but are interested in creating visual art. Each participants leaves with prints of their own, and new knowledge about printmaking. Open to all levels.
