Bookbinding: Buttonhole Stitch Handbound Book

Cost: $100 + $20 material fees.

Materials fees must be paid in cash directly to the instructor, and are due on the day of the workshop.

In this workshop you’ll learn how to bind a book by hand with a buttonhole stitch. Students will also learn to create decorative edges, measure, fold paper, punch holes, sew pages, glue, fold and cut the cover, The pages will have decorative edges, pockets inside the front and back covers, and the option of a ribbon closure. Open to all levels who are interested in learning how to make a hardbound book.
