About the artist: Bruce Marsh is a professor emeritus of art from the University of South Florida, whose work focuses on closely observed expanses of landscape. His artwork reflects the inherent problems and opportunities of working and painting on site, while creating a raw glimpse into nature’s most beautiful, but hard to capture places. His works have been featured in many museums nationally, including multiple exhibitions in Tampa Museum of Art; and three of his massive oil paintings can be seen at the Orlando International Airport, among many other commercial buildings nationwide.
