Designing Fabrics with Water Marbling

Materials fees must be paid in cash directly to the instructor, and are due on the day of the workshop.

Unlike many Art Forms that take years to master, marbling will inspire you with instant gratification and success! You will be creating your own marbling designs on cotton fat quarters.  All colors are permanent!  Students will learn the traditional marbling techniques using carrageenan (powdered seaweed) on which acrylic paints are floating to create mesmerizing patterns and designs such as Feather, Birtudentd Wing, Chevron, Peacock, Stone Marble, etc. Reference books & extensive handout packet are provided.
