Cost: $95 + $40 material fees
Materials fees must be paid in cash directly to the instructor, and are due on the day of the workshop.
In this engaging all-level workshop, participants will unleash their creativity by re-imagining what a surface can be. Learn to create a variety of textures from organic to abstract forms, using encaustic wax and mixed media techniques that can be incorporated into any painting style or subject matter.
All materials are provided; students are free to bring in their own substrate as long as it’s a solid surface (not canvas). Students are also encouraged to bring photo references of textures for inspiration if they’d like.
