Haunted Waterhouse
October 6, 2018 @ 11:00 am - October 28, 2018 @ 4:00 pm
A&H’s Waterhouse Residence Museum
Home to one of Maitland’s founding families, the Waterhouse Residence has long been considered inhabited, even after becoming a museum. Take a guided tour with our hosts, and learn Victorian and local lore. You’ll see intriguing artifacts such as a wreath artistically made of human hair and a 19th century funerary plaque, as well learning lighthearted superstitions and practices that were early explorations of science and medicine.
These are family friendly events that run each weekend in the month of October during our regular hours.
Days: Saturday & Sunday, throughout October.
Times: 11:00am-4:00pm
Special evening tours will be offered from 6:00-9:00 on October 20. Click here to purchase advance tickets for the evening tours.
