Kitchen Lithography Printing
February 3 @ 11:00 am - 3:00 pm
The Cottage at Lake Lily
Instructor: Ryan Price
Location: Cottage at Lake Lily
Cost: $75 + $20 material fees.
Materials fees must be paid in cash directly to the instructor, and are due on the day of the workshop.
Participants will be using household items to learn how to make lithographic prints. Students will receive aluminum foil mounted to a board, and a sharpie to draw with. Once participants have finalized their images, they will use cola to etch the plate. Next, they will rinse with water, dry, apply canola oil, and then buff the surface. Finally, students will create a rubbing with a wooden spoon or use the press.
This workshop will teach participants the process of lithography with a low-stakes and low-cost approach. Each person leaves with a new skill and prints. Open to all levels!
