Summer Family Art Workshops – Week 4: Printmaking Party

July 2 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm

Art & History Museums – Maitland

At the Art & History Museums Maitland, kids can stay creative and artistically engaged all summer long on our beautiful and historic campus, just 15 minutes from downtown Orlando! During these FREE hands-on arts and crafts workshops, families can drop-in and create a new art project every week at their own pace.

On July 2join us in our garden as children experiment with printmaking! Children will use foam sheets and shapes to create a collagraph plate. Then they’ll work with our staff to ink the plate, pull a print and then embellish their prints with markers, confetti and beaded hangers! Our printmaking party is inspired by A&H’s founding artist, J. André Smith, who was a master printmaker, and prints will be ready to take home after the workshop! Families can also visit our “Plein Air” (or outside) playspace with new surprise art stations each week!
