Summer Family Art Workshops – Week 5: Mini Yarn Tapestries
July 9 @ 10:00 am - 12:00 pm
Art & History Museums – Maitland
At the Art & History Museums Maitland, kids can stay creative and artistically engaged all summer long on our beautiful and historic campus, just 15 minutes from downtown Orlando! During these FREE hands-on arts and crafts workshops, families can drop-in and create a new art project every week at their own pace.
On July 9, we’ll introduce children to the wonderful world of fiber arts! Families will explore yarns in different colors, textures and weights as well as beads and embellishments to create their own mini tapestry. Children can self-select between two sizes of their tapestry, based on their skill and interest level! Families can also visit our “Plein Air” (or outside) Playspace for surprise art activities each week!
