Young Artist Summer Workshops 2020

The Education Department is excited to offer summer programming that fosters an appreciation for art and history through the immersive experience of various workshops offered to students from Elementary to High School.

Our vision for Summer 2020 is to inspire community engagement and ignite the imaginations of students and their families, with the hope that every summer they’ll look forward to learning at the A&H.

As we partner with our Artists-in-Action & other local instructors, we hope to expand and enhance educational opportunities at the A&H for Central Florida youth and their families.

We will be offering 1-5 day, 1-2 hour workshops during the weeks of June 8 to July 31, for students going into grades 2-12. See schedule below! On campus workshops will be hosted from 9:30-11:30am, and virtual workshops will be 10:00-11:00am (Except Petit Palette virtual class for grades 2-5, which is 3:00-4:00pm.)  Cost will be $20 (virtual) -$60 (at the Cottage or Studios at Lake Lily) per student. Virtual workshops will have optional supply pickup on campus.

As a finale to our efforts we plan to host a Young Artist Pop-Up exhibit on July 31.

Please note: In person classes will have very limited spaces. All students will have their own table and supplies for the week and access to sanitization stations.

These dates are subject to change due to COVID concerns. The safety and wellbeing of your family is very important to us. We are currently only taking reservations for these workshops, and will coordinate the week before workshops begin to take payments.
