Who We Are
Whether visitors choose the A&H for its fine art exhibitions, thought-provoking history displays, engaging special events or legacy as an artist colony, they leave with memories of a meaningful and relevant experience.
Minutes from the bustling theme parks that make Orlando a world-class destination, lies the breathtaking architecture, quiet serenity and rich history of the Art & History Museums – Maitland. Our five museums located on two campuses are surrounded by Maitland’s natural beauty. Unlike traditional art and history museums that offer visitors a static experience, the A&H engages visitors by providing unparalleled opportunities for enrichment and inspiration.
- Interact with artists in their studios provided through two professional artist residency programs offered by A&H’s Maitland Art Center.
- Get hands-on with turn of the century woodworking tools or a switchboard from early telephone history in the the A&H’s Carpentry Shop and Telephone Museums.
- Sharpen your skills in our year-round Art School that offers classes and workshops for artists of all ages and skill levels – even kids art classes and camps.
- Make history by planning your wedding or company event at the only National Historic Landmark in the Greater Orlando Area.
