(Un)Common Light

This exhibition will showcase the work of two abstract painters, Elisabeth Condon and Carole d’Inverno. Both artists seek, through their paintings, to bring to light not only the formal aspects of color, line, and shape, but also to personal and collective histories, memories, and experiences.

A pond full of blooming lilies is topped with a beautiful bust of Venus-style sculpture of a woman. She is framed by an intricately carved doorframe on a white stucco castle behind her. The castle is decorated with more carvings on its sides and atop its tall tower. Lush tropical plant life surrounds the scene.
